Once in a while, from a privileged seat of perceived safety, I feel confined by my own choices. What is freedom then? Without true hindrance, does freedom become a mindset? What we choose to engage with, how we spend time and resources, how we react to what we can’t control — does that become the meaning of being free?

This mix-and-match approach to sculpture — where individual vessels can be nested and rearranged — reflects the ephemerality and flexibility of mindset and perspective.
